How Trump’s dark energy lifted us into the Light

Trump was the perfect barbell for souls whose purpose for this lifetime was to actively proclaim our discipleship to the energies of Light, Love, Truth, Peace, and Civility. He shook us from the comfort of our complacency and strengthened our resistance muscles. He also was the perfect catalyst for America to begin repaying its longstanding karmic debt. The country prospered from inhumanity, avarice, violence, dishonesty, and theft. The same values would bring its downfall.

Be your own spiritual guru

If you want a deeper understanding of what God is and what God does, and you want a relationship that is not based on fear of harm but on unconditional love, you can have that. Be your own spiritual guru.

How you will leave Earth alive when nobody else will?

Muhammad Ali is among more than 110 celebrities who have exited Earth's stage since New Year's Eve 2015. Each gave us a fresh opportunity not only to embrace the reality of death, but to actually understand it. This is important. And as Ali demonstrated, if we don't understand Death, we will not successfully navigate Life. Ali understood both extraordinarily well, so well that he... Continue Reading →

Think these are scary times? Who gave you that spirit of fear?

Millions of Christians are waging a war on Christianity, spitting disdainfully on Jesus's teachings, embracing rudeness, heartlessness, lies and hatred as the new normal. They scornfully consider treating others as they would want to be treated as "political correctness."

Christians abandoned Jesus’s teachings and very few noticed

We've been bombarded with coverage of the unprecedented worldwide protests following the inauguration of Donald J. Trump. But the largest march—the one primarily responsible for that ceremony—has received little mention: Millions of Evangelical Christians defiantly declared their independence from Jesus's teachings, and it's as if no one noticed. Maybe it wasn't newsworthy. After all, Christians haven't been followers of Jesus for centuries.... Continue Reading →

Why is the sadistic murder of Jesus “Good”?

With no thought at all, we unflinchingly hurl the most damning insults at God. "Good" Friday may be our most consistent and most unconscionable slap at the Divine. It's the day we annually reaffirm that a sadistic murder not only is good, it's an act of God. I was delighted to see that others are looking at this day through... Continue Reading →

Why do so many Christians disdain unconditional love?

We forget that Jesus was not a Christian. He was born Jewish and the cross on which he was sadistically murdered labeled him as "King of the Jews," which means he wasn't Christian even one day of his life. Perhaps that explains why so many Christians are not followers of Jesus. Instead, they boldly... Continue Reading →

Why do we claim God acts like a demon?

In a judge-not-lest-ye-be-judged world, perhaps so many of us are convinced that God will judge us harshly because we so boldly and blithely do the same to God. Even more sassy, we actually bear false witness against God; so the expectation that something horrific will befall us is both reasonable—and reciprocal. Imagine this: You answer your door and police... Continue Reading →

It’s time to stop snoozing on church violence

The massacre at Emanuel A.M.E. in Charleston could have been our wake-up call. In fact, it should have been. But it appears that, once again, we've hit the snooze button. We'd rather not gaze upon the important insights that this church violence offers us. Instead, we cry, "How did the devil get into God's House? Why did God let this happen? Why didn't God protect...
